| Duties: |
Reporting to the Team Leader, Analysis/Design;
Tthe Document Analyst (AFP) is responsible to maintain an up-to-date awareness of forms technologies in a mainframe environment. He/she is also responsible to consult with the client and present recommended programming solutions.
- recommend, develop and initiate production of cost effective Advanced Function Printing (AFP) solutions meeting business specifications, to facilitate the efficient movement of information
- Provide support to the team in a pro-active manner
- Understand and develop new and innovative electronic and print solutions and possess the ability to implement these solutions
- Consult and participate in AFP projects within the client’s environment

| Requirements: |
- Must possess an understanding of IBM’s Advanced Function Printing (AFP) including; Job Control Language (JCL), Page Printer Formatting Aid (PPFA), Overlay Generating Language (OGL), page definitions, and form definitions
- Must possess an understanding of electronic forms technology (Elixir, Electronic Forms Systems - EFS) as well as an understanding of X-PAF and the XEROX print environment
- Experience in Project management desirable and must possess good leadership, problem solving, negotiation, organizational and planning skills, and persistence to achieve completion of a project
- Must possess a thorough understanding of the principles of forms analysis, design and flowcharting
- Other programs used - TSOI, CANSHARE, IRMA, E-MAIL, PCLINK, LOTUS NOTES, EXCEL
- Must have the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Must possess good written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.
