The shipper prepares and releases product from the warehouse at the customers’ request while maintaining the quality and expectations the client has been promised.

Other responsibilities include:

• Prepare product from assigned locations in the warehouse for customers
• Pick product from the warehouse using a lift truck with release order provided
• Package product for shipping and determine the shipping method using predetermined information
• Ship orders via courier shipping systems provided or by chosen carrier
• Load and unload trucks using electric pallet truck
• Ship/confirm releases through the company internal computer system.

• 1 - 2 years’ shipping experience
• High school Diploma
• Lift truck certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Computer operation (Informa, Fomacs, courier shipping systems)
• Ability to work with conflicting or changing priorities on a daily basis
• Available to work overtime on short notice, rush deliveries, excessive volumes
• Able to lift 40lbs regularly
