Our Edmonton printing facility is looking to fill a current need in our bindery area for an operator of laser printers in our variable imaging department. You bring to this position your interest in a digital environment and a proactive approach to manufacturing digital products, with demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills. The primary purpose of this position is to operate our laser printer equipment and to meet or exceed our customer’s specification and expectations. Some related experience in operating and maintaining equipment and computer skills is preferred. Additional bindery duties include operating the cutter, stitcher and other bindery equipment.

The ideal candidate for a Bindery Operator is able to:

• Operate a cutter, stitcher and other equipment
• Perform padding and other bindery hand work
• Work shifts and overtime
• Lift and move 20 kilogram boxes
• Stand for extended periods of time
