DATA Receives Shell's Vendor Excellence Award

DATA has been selected as the recipient of Shell Canada's Vendor Excellence
Award. The Vendor Excellence Award Program was created to recognize Shell's
very best vendors, using consistent guidelines across the Company. The
Guidelines for recognition in this award category are as follows:

Safety

No activity in Shell is more important than ensuring that effective measures
are in place to protect the health and safety of Shell employees, customers,
contractors and those affected by Shell's activities. The vendor must
demonstrate an equal degree of commitment.

Commitment to Quality

The vendor must be dedicated to the principles for Quality Management. For
Shell, this means the relentless pursuit of Continual Improvement through
innovation and effective Teamwork. The successful vendor will be the one
who challenges Shell's current ways of doing business with proposals that
reduce cost and/or add value.

Cost

Shell Canada's objective is to be the lowest cost
producer/manufacture/market in the Petroleum Business. This can only be
realized if our vendors are lowest cost within their respective industries.
Here cost refers to the entire life cycle cost of the product or service
provided, and "lowest cost" must be achieved with ever increasing quality.

Technical Capability

The vendor is among the technical leaders of its industry and keeps Shell
informed of technical advances and opportunities. The product supplied is
fit for purpose and consistently meets agreed upon specifications.

Delivery

The vendor must deliver on-time and with the appropriate documentation.

All of the above must be consistently demonstrated over an extended period
of time and with the highest ethical standards.
